AFC Telford 2 - 1 Hyde United

HYDE'S dismal run of form continued at the impressive New Buck's Head Stadium on Saturday where, despite a late rally, the Tigers came away with nothing.

Loan signing from Huddersfield Town, Shane Killock made his debut for the Tigers in the heart of the defence, Steve Pickford moved to right back, whilst Danny Warner made way for Chris Lynch on the left.

The defence had a more secure look than in recent games, but Pickford's influence in midfield was sorely missed.

Time after time Hyde were second best in midfield and this contributed to their downfall.

Telford took the lead on 32 minutes when Mark Innes gave the ball away with the Tigers well upfield.

The home side capitalised immediately and Gary Birch, with excellent close control, made no mistake.

The Michigan health department said in a press release that since the end of the report timeframe it "has continued to make significant enhancements" to readiness programs, including coordination of response actions in the event of an emergency.

Unionist ‘summit’ in bid to thwart SNP

Leading politicians from Holyrood and Westminster will gather behind closed doors in London today for their first meeting to discuss the prospect of giving the Scottish Parliament more powers.

Wendy Alexander, Annabel Goldie and Nicol Stephen, the respective leaders of the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties at Holyrood, will privately meet their London counterparts in a room at the House of Commons to discuss how the proposed constitutional commission on devolution should be established and to underpin Unionist opposition to the independence policy of the Nationalists.

Last night, a source close to Des Browne, the Scottish Secretary, told The Herald: "It's critical at the moment for the Unionist parties to work together to demonstrate the fact that the settled will of the Scottish people is for devolution.

Saints 0 Plymouth 2 - dismal start for new boss Nigel

Saints started well and Vignal's deep cross from the left found Marek Saganowski at the far post, but he volleyed well wide.

The visitors came back and Andrew Davies did well to block Jermaine Easter's cross-cum-shot before the Saints defender headed wide at the other end.

Thomas also nodded over as Saints continued to press for the opener, but they suffered a blow after 22 minutes when injury-prone Darren Powell limped off and was replaced by Viafara.

The injury disrupted Saints' rhythm and they paid the ultimate price minutes later as Andrew Surman gave the ball away to Nalis, who slid it to Halmosi and the Hungarian slotted home his second goal in two away games.

Ex-Saints boss Paul Sturock's side almost doubled their lead immediate as Nalis played the ball into Halmosi again, but this time he shot wide.

Tiles, food, garments and many more are want only being brought into the country, too, he said.

Escudero stressed government must raise the corresponding amount in tax, plus P10 billion more, as the total cash budget of the government for the year is actually P1.236 billion.

He explained that the P10 billion is the projected cost of the planned 10-percent hike in the basic pay of 1.1 million national government workers that will take effect July.

This amount, while factored in this years public expenditures, was not included in the budget.

This means that government must raise an average P3.386 billion daily to finance its operations, Escudero said.

The burden of raising this amount would fall on the two lead revenue agencies: Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), which is targeting to collect P844.9 billion, or 68.3 percent of the total, and the BoC, whose assigned target of P254.5 billion makes up 20.6 percent of overall, or a combined P1.099 trillion, he added.
